About the Iron Bird Feeder
This feeder has a solid painted metal tube that holds seed inside, with green bird-shaped feeding ports and perches on the front. A green cap with a loop is used for hanging, and a wide green tray at the base catches loose grains and gives birds room to land. The metal body is heavier than plastic, so it stays steady on a windy balcony or a swaying branch. Fill it with kagni or a small-seed mix for house sparrows and munias; bulbuls and mynas will also come for a share. Hang it a little above head height and away from where cats can reach, and give the birds a few days to find it.
