About the Brazilian Wood Plant

The Brazilian Wood Plant, commonly sold as Brazilian Lucky Wood or Dracaena Wood Plant, is a beautiful indoor plant known for its thick woody stem and fresh green shoots that grow out like a small tropical tree. Botanically it is Dracaena fragrans, making it a close relative of the much loved Lucky Bamboo, which also belongs to the Dracaena group. Unlike regular leafy tabletop plants, Brazilian Wood has a strong sculptural form, with a natural log-like base and soft green leaves that make it feel both earthy and elegant. It grows best in bright indirect light, needs watering only when the topsoil starts to dry, and settles well in Indian homes and offices. A lovely choice for corners, side tables, desks, entryways, and gifting, this plant brings a calm, fresh, and slightly tropical feeling to your space.
