About the Food Feeder
This short, clear feeder is made for small balconies and patios. The clear container keeps grains dry and shows when it is time to refill, a bird-shaped feeding port with a perch adds a cheerful touch, and the wide tray at the base gives birds a place to sit and catches falling seeds. A strong hook on top makes it easy to hang from a railing, a window grill or a branch. Fill it with kagni or a small-seed mix, the size house sparrows, munias and white-eyes prefer, and give them a few days to discover it. Once they do, a small feeder like this can bring the same few birds back every morning.
