About the Wooden Food Feeder
This little wooden house is made from natural pine, with a sloping roof, a clear front for the seed and green feeding ports with perches. A tray at the base catches grains and gives birds more room to eat. A hook on the roof lets you hang it from a balcony, a window grill or a garden branch. Fill it with kagni or a small-seed mix for house sparrows, munias and other small garden birds, and hang it a little above head height in a quiet, shaded spot. Birds may take a few days to find it; once they do, they tend to return at the same times each day. The plain wood finish looks at home among plants and weathers to a soft natural tone.
