About the Wooden Bird House With Long Roof
This bird house is shaped like a tall A-frame hut, with a long brown roof running almost to the base on both sides. Its brightly painted body and arched entrance, framed in white, sit under a steep roof that keeps rain off the doorway. Three pre-drilled holes let you fix it to a garden wall, balcony pillar or tree trunk so it sits steady. The inside is sized for house sparrows, munias and similar small garden birds that want a dry place to rest or raise a brood. Its pointed shape makes it stand out on a wall or among plants on a balcony, and in the nesting months you may spot a sparrow peeking out of the doorway.
