About the Vermicompost

Vermicompost is organic waste that earthworms have broken down into a fine, dark, crumbly compost, and it is one of the kindest things you can give your soil. It improves the texture of potting mix, helps it hold water while still draining well, and releases nutrients slowly so plants are fed without being forced. It suits everything from houseplants and herbs to vegetables, roses and fruit plants. Add a handful or two when you repot, or spread a thin layer on top of the soil in pots and beds every month or so and water it in. It has a pleasant, earthy smell. Keep the pack closed and dry between uses.
