About the Nano Two-in-one Water Feeder

This compact water feeder is a narrow, clear plastic tube that sits above a shaped green tray, with a hook at the top for hanging. Water flows from the tube into the tray as birds drink, so it stays filled for longer, and the clear tube tells you when it is time for a refill. It is light, takes up very little space and comes apart easily for a rinse, which makes it ideal for a small balcony or a single window. Hang it from a grill, railing or plant hook in a shaded spot and fill it with fresh water every day, especially through the summer. Sparrows, munias and sunbirds will soon learn where to find it, and on hot afternoons you may see them lining up for a drink.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions
How can I get more birds to visit?

Hang it in the shade, close to a tree, creeper or plants where birds like to perch. Keep it clean and full, and birds soon learn it's a spot they can count on.

Do birds use it in the monsoon and winter too?

Yes, birds drink all year round. In the monsoon, keep the water fresh and free of mud. In winter they visit a little less often.

How do I stop mosquitoes breeding in it?

Give it fresh water every day. Mosquitoes need water that sits still for days, so a daily top-up keeps them away.

How do I clean it?

It comes apart for a quick rinse. Wash the jar and tray with plain water every few days, and more often in peak summer.

Can I add anything to the water?

No, just clean drinking water. Don't add sugar, salt, glucose or vitamins.
