About the Mounted Wooden Feeder
Shaped like a little house, this feeder has a sloping wooden roof, a clear front window for the seed and green feeding ports with perches. A tray along the base catches grains and gives birds more room to eat. It fixes flat against a wall, a pillar or a balcony post, so it works well where there is no hook, branch or railing to hang from. Fill it with kagni or a small-seed mix for house sparrows, munias and other small garden birds, and place it a little above head height, where cats cannot reach. The natural pine wood looks at home among plants, and the clear window shows you when it is time to top up the seed.
