Using your Hand Cultivator
Where this tool is most useful
A hand cultivator is most useful for loosening soil, removing small weeds, and mixing compost or fertilizer in pots, garden beds, and around existing plants.
How to use it
Hold the handle and gently push the tines into the top layer of soil around the plant. Pull or rake the tool through the soil to break up compacted earth and lift out small weeds. You can also use it to mix compost or fertilizer into the soil to improve aeration and help roots grow better.
