Care Tips

Keep it near a window, balcony door, or bright indoor corner where it gets good natural light without harsh direct sun.

Check the top layer of soil before watering and water only when it feels dry to the touch.

Use a light mix with garden soil, cocopeat, compost, and a little sand or perlite so the roots get moisture without sitting in excess water.

Place the plant where curious pets and children cannot chew the leaves, as this plant is toxic and not meant to be eaten, and may cause irritation if ingested.

The Broken Heart Plant (Monstera adansonii) is a beautiful tropical indoor plant loved for its unique green leaves with natural holes and cuts. Also known as the Swiss Cheese Vine, Monkey Mask Monstera, and Five Holes Plant, it has a lighter, more delicate look than Monstera Deliciosa while still carrying the same lush Monstera charm. Its trailing or climbing growth makes it easy to style on shelves, hanging planters, tabletops, moss sticks, and bright indoor corners. With its unusual foliage, fresh tropical feel, and eye-catching leaf pattern, the Broken Heart Plant is a lovely choice for anyone who wants a plant that feels rare, lively, and full of character.
